Breakfast Racing Team

I founded a bike racing team in 2021.

In 2024, Breakfast Racing Team was made up of 54 bike racers who identify as women, transgender, gender-nonconforming, or non-binary in the greater Seattle area. Breakfast is a 501C7 Non-Profit within the state of Washington.

My Role

As Founder & Creative Director, I led the team and its socials with an emphasis on Art Direction and community engagement.

  • Designed & maintained team brand and its growth over 5 years time

  • Crafted IG social posts from scratch

  • Designed all team racing garments, water bottles, team tent

  • Designed hard goods for fundraising β€” supporter t-shirts, socks

  • Crafted a sub-brand for the Racer Support Fund to enable the team to fundraise and give back to the community.

Social

Racer Support Fund

The Breakfast Racer Support Fund offers monetary support to women trans femme and nonbinary bike racers within the broader PNW.

By submitting a request for funding, racers can ask for money for race registration, various memberships & fees, and transportation.

Since Breakfast RSF was mainly a social media effort when it launched, I designed a sub-brand for the fund to make it stand out as hard goods (spoke cards, postcards, and posters at bike shops).

Boston Harbor Circuit Race

Breakfast put on their very first road race in 2024, lovingly named Breakfast at Boston Harbor.

The race needed a lot of social media attention to garner attendance, so a sub-brand was made to advertise!
